Kast Stellar Card, explained: USDC on Stellar, XLM, memos and getting money out
The Kast Stellar Card is the KAST Visa card funded over Stellar. KAST takes USDC on Stellar with no KAST fee and converts XLM on arrival. Stellar is deposit-only, so withdrawals leave on Arbitrum, Solana or Ethereum.
What is the Kast Stellar Card?
The Kast Stellar Card is the regular KAST Visa card, topped up with USDC or XLM sent over Stellar. There is no separate card: Stellar is one of the 13 networks in KAST's deposit list, and what you send ends up in the dollar balance the card spends from.
Stellar is a payments network with small fees. KAST puts it in its low-fee group with Solana, TRON, Polygon and BNB Chain: a few cents or less, confirmed in seconds.
How to deposit USDC on Stellar to KAST
USDC is the only stablecoin KAST takes on Stellar:
- In the KAST app, tap Receive and choose Stablecoin.
- Pick USDC, then Stellar from the network list.
- Copy the address with the copy button, and the memo if one is shown.
- Send USDC on Stellar from your wallet or exchange to that address.
KAST charges nothing and credits it 1:1 in dollars. At least $1 has to arrive after network fees. If you're new, our Kast Card sign up page covers opening the account.
Stellar memos: when to add one
Many exchanges ask for a memo on Stellar deposits, so check before you send. If the KAST deposit screen shows a memo or tag, include it exactly as shown. A deposit without a required memo can be delayed and may need a manual review by KAST Concierge.
If the screen shows no memo, leave the memo field in your wallet empty. Stellar addresses start with a G, which makes them hard to confuse with the 0x addresses of other networks.
Sending XLM to KAST
XLM is on KAST's convert list. It arrived with the October 2025 update that opened deposits to more than 25 crypto assets for instant spending.
Choose Crypto in the Receive screen, pick XLM and copy the address. The app shows an indicative price, sells what arrives for stablecoins and shows the conversion fee before you confirm, usually 2% to 5%. For larger amounts, swapping XLM to USDC on Stellar first is often cheaper.
Getting money out when Stellar is deposit-only
KAST doesn't send out on Stellar. USDC can leave on Arbitrum ($0.20 + 0.1%), Solana ($1 + 0.1%) or Ethereum ($6 + 0.1%), with a $5 minimum. Our Kast Arbitrum Card and Kast Solana Card pages cover the two cheaper routes.

Once the deposit lands it is a dollar balance you can spend anywhere Visa works. Cashback is paid in US dollars: up to 8%, with 1.5% on the free Standard tier and more on the paid tiers.
