Kast Card in Brazil: PIX, paying in reais at 0% FX and moving BRL
Kast Card is available in Brazil, and it is one of the few crypto cards with PIX built in. Your balance stays in US dollars, reais move in and out by PIX, and eligible card purchases in reais carry no FX fee.
Is KAST available in Brazil?
Yes. KAST is available in Brazil: residents can sign up, verify and use the card, and PIX is part of the app. KAST accepts residents of every country except those under sanctions, and Brazil is not one of them.
Brazil is also one of the places KAST shows up most. The team has had a booth at Blockchain Rio two years running, hosted poker nights and dinners in São Paulo, and threw a members-only Gold Party in Rio in August 2026. The supported countries page has the full list.

How PIX works on KAST
PIX on KAST works like PIX in a Brazilian bank app, except the money ends up in a dollar balance. KAST added it in September 2025, and you switch it on yourself: tap Send or Receive, choose Pix, and enter your CPF the first time.
To add money, KAST gives you a PIX QR code and a Pix copia e cola string. Pay either one from your bank and the reais arrive in seconds, converted to USDC. To send money, open Pay, pick Pix, type the amount in reais and the recipient's key, or scan their QR code. PIX runs around the clock, weekends and holidays included.

What PIX costs on KAST
PIX on KAST costs 1% in each direction, and that already includes Brazil's IOF tax. You won't see it as a separate line: it is built into the exchange rate, which the app shows with the total in US dollars before you confirm.
Rates move, so KAST converts a deposit at the moment it arrives and the exact dollar amount appears in your history afterwards. On R$1,000 the fee comes to about R$10. Every other charge is on our Kast Card fees page.
Paying in reais with the Kast Card
Paying in reais with the Kast Card costs no FX fee on eligible purchases. That is KAST's own rule for BRL card payments, and it was on the wall of its booth at Blockchain Rio in 2026: 0% FX in Brazil and 1.5% to 3% cashback in dollars.

So a R$200 dinner comes out of your balance at the rate shown, with nothing added for the conversion. It runs as KAST's LATAM FX Fee Rebate: the usual FX fee may be charged at checkout and is credited back in dollars, normally within a week, until 31 December 2027. It covers card purchases, not PIX, deposits or ATM withdrawals.

Why KAST asks for your CPF
KAST asks for your CPF because you can't receive money by PIX without it. It is opt-in: you enter it when you turn PIX on, not at sign-up, and KAST uses it to meet Brazilian rules and to protect the account against fraud.
When you send money, the recipient's CPF works as a PIX key, and so do a phone number, an email address or a random key. To receive, KAST gives you a QR code and a copia e cola string instead of a key, so each deposit is routed to the right account.
Topping up KAST with stablecoins from Brazil
You don't have to use PIX at all. Sending USDT or USDC to your KAST deposit address costs nothing on KAST's side; you pay only the network fee. Solana is usually the quickest and cheapest route, and our Kast Solana Card page shows a deposit from Phantom.
The balance stays in dollars either way, but you can set the app to show it in reais. Other coins such as BTC or ETH work too; KAST converts them for a fee of roughly 2% to 5%.

Kast Card cashback and offers in Brazil
Kast Card cashback in Brazil is paid in US dollars: 1.5% on the free Standard tier, 2% on Premium and 3% on Private, with KAST Points on top of the paid tiers. Brazilian streamer Jonvlogs, for example, got $119.95 back on a $2,399 flight.
Cashback goes up to 8%. During the 2026 World Cup, KAST's Matchday game gave 2x cashback for 24 hours to anyone who picked a match winner correctly, and 6x for picking Brazil to win one game. Offers change, so the Rewards tab shows what is live.

Using the KAST card at ATMs in Brazil
A KAST ATM withdrawal in Brazil costs $3 plus 2% of the amount. Each withdrawal is capped at $250, with up to 3 withdrawals or $750 per 24 hours, and the ATM operator may add its own fee.
To get reais into a bank account, PIX is the cheaper route: 1% and no fixed fee.
Is KAST worth it in Brazil?
KAST is worth it in Brazil if you earn or save in dollars or stablecoins and spend in reais. Card purchases in BRL carry no FX fee, PIX links the account to every Brazilian bank for 1%, and cashback is paid in dollars.
If you mostly need cash, the ATM fees make it less useful. The free Standard card is enough for most people, and Premium or Private only pay for themselves at high monthly spend.
