Kast Card fees explained: what each one costs and how to pay less
Kast Card fees are simple for anyone spending US dollars and a bit more involved for everyone else. What you pay comes down to the currency you spend in, whether you take cash out, and how you move money in and out of KAST.
Spending in US dollars
Spending in US dollars with a Kast Card is free. There is no transaction fee, no fee for Apple Pay or Google Pay, and no small-purchase fee on USD payments. Topping up with stablecoins is free as well; the only cost is the network fee your wallet pays to send them. So the card costs least for people who live in the US; our Kast Card USA page covers signing up from there.

Stablecoins also land in your balance one to one. A deposit of 500 USDC shows up as $500, with no spread taken on the way in. The network fee is usually cents on Solana, TRON, Polygon, BNB Chain and Stellar, a few cents to under a dollar on Base, Optimism and Avalanche, and often several dollars on Ethereum.
The KAST foreign exchange fee
The KAST foreign exchange fee is 0.5% to 1.75% on any card payment that isn't in US dollars. Where you land in that range depends on your country of residence, the country of the payment and the card program, and the app shows the figure before you confirm. One exception: under KAST's LATAM FX Fee Rebate, eligible card purchases in Latin American currencies such as reais and Mexican, Argentine or Colombian pesos work out at 0% FX until the end of 2027, as our Kast Card Brazil, Kast Card Mexico, Kast Card Argentina and Kast Card Colombia pages explain.

Non-USD purchases under $25 add $0.10 on top. On a coffee abroad that is the biggest part of the cost.
Cashback partly offsets it. KAST's fee table puts the net effect (cashback and KAST Points minus the FX fee) at up to 1% on Standard, 2.5% on Premium and 4.5% on Private. Our Kast Card Indonesia page works through a real example in rupiah.
KAST ATM fees and limits
A KAST ATM withdrawal costs $3 plus 2% of the amount. Outside the US the FX fee is added as well, and the ATM operator may charge its own fee on top.
Each withdrawal is capped at $250, and you can make up to three withdrawals or take $750 in any 24 hours. Because of the flat $3, small withdrawals hurt: $20 costs $3.40, which is 17%, while $250 costs $8, or 3.2%.
Card and membership fees
The Standard Kast Card has no annual fee, and virtual cards are free and unlimited: create a new one whenever you need a fresh card number, as our Kast Virtual Card page explains. The physical Standard card is free to make but costs $40 to deliver.

Premium costs $1,000 a year and Private $10,000 a year. They include their own metal and gold-plated cards, and extra cards on those tiers are priced through KAST Concierge. The tier comparison on our home page shows when the higher cashback covers the fee.
Deposit fees: crypto and bank transfers
Depositing stablecoins into KAST is free. Other crypto, such as BTC, ETH or SOL, is converted into stablecoins as it arrives, and KAST shows the fee for that token before you confirm. Converting first in your own wallet is usually cheaper.

Bank deposits into the Kast Global USD Account cost $2 by ACH, $15 by Fedwire and $30 by SWIFT. Euros by SEPA cost 0.5% of the amount. There is no limit on how much you can deposit.
Withdrawal and payout fees
Withdrawing stablecoins from KAST costs a fixed fee plus 0.1%, and the fixed part depends on the network: $0.20 on Arbitrum, $1 on Solana, $5 on TRON and $6 on Ethereum. The minimum withdrawal is $5. If you use Solana anyway, our Kast Solana Card page covers that side.

Bank payouts cost $1 by ACH or $15 by wire inside the US, and $30 by SWIFT abroad. Most local currencies cost $2 plus a 1% FX fee, and euros by SEPA cost 1% with no fixed fee. Sending money to another KAST user by KAST Tag is free and instant, up to $10,000 a day.
KAST fees that are easy to miss
People notice the declined-payment fee last. A card payment that fails because your balance is too low costs $0.50, and it tends to happen when a subscription renews on an empty account. Keep a small buffer.
Small foreign purchases are the other one. Under $25, a non-USD payment adds $0.10 on top of the FX fee, so a string of small purchases abroad costs more, relatively, than one big one.
KAST spending and deposit limits
KAST has no fixed limit on card transactions, deposits or account balance on any tier. Large payments can still trigger security or compliance checks, merchants set their own limits, and ATMs and KAST Tag transfers have the daily caps covered above.
