Kast Ethereum Card, explained: four stablecoins, ETH and the cost of gas
The Kast Ethereum Card is the KAST Visa card funded over Ethereum. It is the only network where KAST takes USDT, USDC, PYUSD and RLUSD, and it also accepts ETH and a dozen ERC-20 tokens, which KAST converts to dollars on arrival.
What is the Kast Ethereum Card?
The Kast Ethereum Card is the regular KAST Visa card, topped up with stablecoins or crypto sent over Ethereum. There is no separate card to order. Ethereum is one of the four chains KAST integrated first, together with Solana, TRON and Polygon.
Ethereum takes the widest range of assets. If your money sits in PYUSD, RLUSD or a basket of ERC-20 tokens, it is often the only way to bring it into KAST without swapping or bridging first.

Which stablecoins KAST accepts on Ethereum
KAST accepts four stablecoins on Ethereum: USDT, USDC, PYUSD (PayPal USD) and RLUSD (Ripple USD). Each one arrives with no KAST fee and is credited 1:1 as US dollars.
PYUSD otherwise only works on Solana, RLUSD only on the XRP Ledger, and most networks take just one or two of the four. In the app you pick the coin first, then Ethereum from the network list, and copy the address KAST shows.

Depositing ETH and ERC-20 tokens
ETH and supported ERC-20 tokens are converted to stablecoins when they reach KAST. In the Receive screen choose Crypto rather than Stablecoin, pick the asset, copy the address and send. The supported list on Ethereum covers ETH, AAVE, LINK, UNI, ONDO, ENA, COMP, CRO, FET, OKB, SUSHI, QNT, GRT and LEO.
The conversion fee is shown before you confirm and usually lands between 2% and 5%. For small amounts that is fine; for large ones, swapping to USDC on an exchange first can work out cheaper.

Why Ethereum costs more than other networks
Ethereum costs more because of gas, the network fee every transfer pays. KAST's own guidance puts it at several dollars per transaction, with confirmations taking one to two minutes or longer when the network is busy. KAST adds nothing on top for stablecoin deposits.
So Ethereum makes sense for larger transfers, for coins that only live there, and for ETH holders who want to spend without selling elsewhere first. For a quick $50 top-up in USDC, Solana, Arbitrum, Base or Polygon will cost cents instead.
Sending USDT or USDC out on Ethereum
Sending USDT or USDC out on Ethereum costs $6 plus 0.1% of the amount, with a $5 minimum. On $1,000 that is $7. The same withdrawal costs $2 on Solana, and $1.20 on Arbitrum if you are sending USDC.
Open Pay, choose Stablecoin, pick the coin and Ethereum, paste the 0x address and check the fee line before you confirm. Our Kast Solana Card page covers the cheaper route, and every charge is on the Kast Card fees page.
Spending Ethereum funds with the Kast Card
Once your Ethereum deposit is credited, it is a dollar balance like any other. The card works anywhere Visa does, and cashback comes back in US dollars: up to 8%, with 1.5% on the free Standard tier and more on the paid tiers.

The 0x address trap
Ethereum addresses start with 0x, and so do addresses on Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche and BNB Chain. A wallet accepts any of them, so the address alone does not tell you which network you are on.
Pick the same coin and the same network in KAST and in your wallet, and use the copy button. If funds go out on a network KAST doesn't support for that coin, recovery isn't guaranteed, takes 1 to 2 weeks and costs a fee. If you are new to KAST, start with our Kast Card sign up page.
