Kast Polygon Card, explained: USDC and USDT on Polygon, POL and getting money out

The Kast Polygon Card is the KAST Visa card funded over Polygon. KAST takes USDC and USDT on Polygon with no KAST fee and converts POL on arrival. Polygon is deposit-only, so withdrawals leave on Solana, TRON, Ethereum or Arbitrum.

What is the Kast Polygon Card?

The Kast Polygon Card is the regular KAST Visa card, topped up with USDC, USDT or POL sent over Polygon. There is no separate card. Polygon has been there from the start: on 1 July 2025 KAST listed its four integrated chains as Solana, TRON, Ethereum and Polygon, with USDC and USDT as the two stablecoins.

It suits people who already hold stablecoins on Polygon, or who withdraw from an exchange that offers Polygon as a cheap route. Gas is a cent or two and transfers settle in seconds.

How to deposit USDC or USDT on Polygon to KAST

Polygon is one of the few networks where KAST takes both of the big dollar stablecoins. The steps are the same for either:

  1. In the KAST app, tap Receive and choose Stablecoin.
  2. Pick USDC or USDT, then Polygon from the network list.
  3. Copy the address with the copy button.
  4. Withdraw the same coin on Polygon from your exchange or wallet to that address.

KAST charges nothing and credits it 1:1 in dollars, usually within minutes. At least $1 has to arrive after network fees. Our Kast Card sign up page covers the ID check for new accounts.

Sending POL to KAST

POL, Polygon's own token, is on the list of coins KAST converts on arrival. KAST added it in October 2025, when it opened deposits to more than 25 crypto assets for instant spending.

In the Receive screen choose Crypto, pick POL and copy the address. The app shows an indicative price and sells whatever arrives for stablecoins. The conversion fee is shown before you confirm and usually lands between 2% and 5%, so for larger amounts, swapping to USDC first can be cheaper.

What Polygon costs with KAST

A USDC or USDT deposit on Polygon costs nothing on KAST's side, and Polygon's gas is usually a cent or two. KAST puts it in the same group as Solana, TRON, BNB Chain and Stellar: low fees, confirmed in seconds.

From there, card payments in US dollars are free and other currencies carry a 0.5% to 1.75% FX fee. Every charge is listed on our Kast Card fees page.

Getting money out when Polygon is deposit-only

KAST doesn't send stablecoins out on Polygon. Withdrawals go over another network: USDC on Solana ($1 + 0.1%), Arbitrum ($0.20 + 0.1%) or Ethereum ($6 + 0.1%), and USDT on Solana, TRON ($5 + 0.1%) or Ethereum.

For USDC, Arbitrum is the cheapest way out and most exchanges accept it. Our Kast Solana Card and Kast Ethereum Card pages cover the other two routes.

Spending Polygon funds with the Kast Card

Once the deposit lands it is a dollar balance you can spend anywhere Visa is accepted, online or at a till. Cashback is paid in US dollars: up to 8%, with 1.5% on the free Standard tier and more on the paid tiers.

Polygon, Ethereum or BNB Chain? Getting the network right

Polygon, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum and Base addresses all start with 0x, so your wallet won't flag a mix-up. Pick the coin and Polygon in KAST first, then copy the address, and choose Polygon (sometimes listed as Polygon PoS or MATIC) on the sending side too.

If funds go out on the wrong network, getting them back isn't guaranteed. A successful recovery takes 1 to 2 weeks, costs a fee and returns the money to the sending wallet.
