Kast Global USD Account, explained: US bank details for anyone, and what they cost
The Kast Global USD Account gives you a US account number and routing number inside the KAST app, plus SWIFT details for payers abroad. Money sent by ACH, Fedwire or SWIFT lands in your KAST balance, where the Visa card can spend it.
What the Kast Global USD Account is
The Kast Global USD Account is a USD virtual account: dedicated bank details in your name that you share with whoever pays you. KAST's own graphic for it reads: set up in minutes, get a US account number, receive direct deposit.
There is nothing extra to buy. Once your KAST account is verified, you activate it from the Receive screen, and every dollar that comes in is credited to the same balance your Kast Virtual Card spends from.

From the US only, or from anywhere
KAST launched virtual accounts in June 2025 with ACH and Fedwire, the two domestic US rails, and said they were available in more than 150 countries. The global version adds SWIFT, so a client outside the US can pay you in dollars too. In the app you now choose between receiving USD from the US only or from anywhere.
If you opened a USD account before the global one existed, it stays active alongside the new one, so you keep both sets of details. Check first that KAST serves your country on our Kast Card supported countries page. If you live in the US, our Kast Card USA page covers the SSN step at sign-up and the account's list of restricted states.

Fees, timing and limits
Receiving costs $2 by ACH, $15 by Fedwire and $30 by SWIFT, according to KAST's fee table; its receiving guide gives $35 for SWIFT, so take the figure in the app as final. On a $2,000 invoice, ACH works out at 0.1%.
ACH usually takes 1 to 3 business days, Fedwire arrives the same business day if it is sent before the cut-off, and SWIFT takes 1 to 5 business days. Deposits have no fixed cap, but above $10,000 in one transfer or $20,000 in a month KAST can ask for proof of income or source of funds; without it within 10 days, the transfer goes back to the sender.

Who is behind the account
KAST isn't a bank, and the USD account isn't a traditional bank account. It is a virtual account run with banking partners: the details on KAST's own screens name Lead Bank in Kansas City, and the activation screen says the service uses Bridge to connect accounts and move funds.
Approval for the USD account is a separate check from your main Kast Card KYC, so it can be pending or unavailable even when the card works, and KAST can't manually overturn a rejection. The balance is also not a bank deposit and is not insured.
Spending and moving the dollars
Dollars that arrive are yours to use straight away. Pay with the card anywhere Visa works, with no FX fee in US dollars and up to 8% cashback. Send stablecoins on-chain, send to another user by KAST Tag for free, or pay out to a bank: $1 by ACH or $15 by wire inside the US, and $2 plus 1% for most local currencies. Every charge is on our Kast Card fees page.
KAST also has a Reserve Account, a separate USD balance that earns promotional rewards and stays available for card spending. KAST is explicit that these rewards aren't interest and that the balance isn't insured.

The EUR account next to it
The same Receive screen offers an EUR account with an IBAN for SEPA transfers. Receiving euros costs 0.5%, and activation is usually instant if you are already verified; whichever of the two accounts you open first, the other doesn't repeat the identity check.
