Kast Avalanche Card, explained: USDC and USDT on C-Chain, costs and getting money out
The Kast Avalanche Card is the KAST Visa card funded over Avalanche C-Chain. KAST takes USDC and USDT there with no KAST fee, but not AVAX, and Avalanche is deposit-only, so withdrawals leave on Arbitrum, Solana, TRON or Ethereum.
What is the Kast Avalanche Card?
The Kast Avalanche Card is the regular KAST Visa card, topped up with USDC or USDT sent over Avalanche C-Chain. You don't order anything extra: Avalanche C-Chain is one of the 13 networks in KAST's deposit list, and what you send lands in the same dollar balance the card spends from.
It is one of five networks where KAST takes both USDC and USDT; the others are Solana, Ethereum, Polygon and Arbitrum. If you hold stablecoins on Avalanche, there is no need to bridge them anywhere first.

How to deposit USDC or USDT on Avalanche to KAST
The steps are the same for both coins:
- In the KAST app, tap Receive and choose Stablecoin.
- Pick USDC or USDT, then Avalanche C-Chain from the network list.
- Copy the address with the copy button.
- Send the same coin on C-Chain from your exchange or wallet to that address.
KAST charges nothing and credits it 1:1 in dollars. At least $1 has to arrive after network fees. If you haven't signed up yet, our Kast Card sign up page covers the ID check.

C-Chain only, and no AVAX
Avalanche runs several chains. KAST supports only C-Chain, the EVM chain where USDC and USDT circulate. Sending from X-Chain or P-Chain won't reach your KAST address.
AVAX itself isn't on KAST's convert list either, unlike SOL, ETH, BNB, POL or ARB. If your balance is in AVAX, swap it to USDC or USDT on C-Chain before you send.
What Avalanche costs with KAST
KAST groups Avalanche C-Chain with Arbitrum, Optimism and Base as a moderate-fee network: transfers usually settle in under a minute and gas runs from a few cents to under a dollar. KAST adds nothing on deposits.
Card payments in US dollars are free and other currencies carry a 0.5% to 1.75% FX fee. Our Kast Card fees page lists the rest.

Getting money out when Avalanche is deposit-only
KAST doesn't send out on Avalanche. USDC can leave on Arbitrum ($0.20 + 0.1%), Solana ($1 + 0.1%) or Ethereum ($6 + 0.1%); USDT on Solana, TRON ($5 + 0.1%) or Ethereum. The minimum is $5.
For most people the cheap routes are Arbitrum for USDC and Solana for USDT. Our Kast Arbitrum Card and Kast Solana Card pages cover both.
Spending Avalanche funds with the Kast Card
After the deposit is credited, the card spends it like any dollar balance, anywhere Visa works. Cashback is paid in US dollars: up to 8%, with 1.5% on the free Standard tier and more on the paid tiers.

Avalanche or another 0x chain? Getting the network right
C-Chain addresses start with 0x, like Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base and BNB Chain addresses, so a wallet won't flag a mix-up. Pick the coin and Avalanche C-Chain in KAST first, then copy the address, and choose C-Chain on the sending side too.
Recovery from the wrong network isn't guaranteed. When it works, it takes 1 to 2 weeks and costs a fee, and the money goes back to the sending wallet.
